BELIEVE IN SPRING
Spring is just around the corner ... it really is! It may be hard to believe if you still see two-feet of snow in your yard, but you’ll be at your local garden center in no time. So, while you are watching the snow melt and anxiously wait for the return of Spring, there are few things you can do not to prepare for gardening season.
First, you can start with taking an inventory of your current gardening supplies.
You may have to move some snow shovels to find your rakes, but trust me, they are there somewhere. Once you've located your supplies, take a good look to see what can make it another year and what needs to be replaced. Do you need a new watering can or new pots. Is this the year you will finally replace your ground fabric and do you need new landscape staples. Are your tomato cages and cucumber racks ready to a new year of plants, or are you ready to replace your wire products with a bold new color like hot pink or royal blue.
Finding your gardening supplies and creating your inventory list should fill your weekend. Then you can begin ordering your new replacement items and drawing up your garden plans for this upcoming season. And before you know it, you will be off to the garden center to buy your plants and start digging.
